Long January

Every year in January feels so long, but in this long month I enjoy the season.
The way my shoes tread in the puddles, my laundry takes a long time to dry, every hope and resolution is spoken, target for this year are written, that’s why January feels so long.
We wait to see what will happen in the next month, all the hope and dreams that might be achieved this year will come true?
All pain and sorrow will dissapear this year?
Even though I want to be with January longer, Why does january take so long?
Can I stop time?
